I want to thank those of you who have updated your posts - lots of interesting things going on in your classrooms!!

Dear Cadet Teachers, The semester will be over before you know it - don't forget to turn in your tutoring logs before or right after Christmas so you can get credit for them for this semester's grade. Some of you need to catch up on your postings. Those of you who have kept up with your postings - I'm really impressed with your dedication to the students you help in the classroom. It's hard not to get attached, but it's all right to be a little sad that you are leaving either at the end of this semester or at the end of the year. Thank you for all that you are doing. I know that the teachers you are helping really appreciate everything that you do!!! Merry Christmas!

First Term Grades

Cadet Teachers: Because I am still having difficulty following several of your blogs, I have decided that I will postpone giving you a grade for the autobiography until second term. When you receive your grades for first term, your Cadet teaching grade will be based only on your teacher's rubric for this term. Those of you whom I talked with last week - I am still having problems. I have not been able to access your URLs. So if you receive this, please contact me so we can sit down together and figure out the problem. Those blogs that I have been able to follow have been very informative and fun to read!!! Keep up the good work with your classroom kiddoes! If you have already blogged your personal narrative - thank you!! If you have any questions, come see me in my office during your cadet teaching time. I will be here the rest of today, tomorrow and Wednesday. Thanks. My apologies for the confusion and inconvenience!

Cadet Teachers: Thanks to everyone who is posting on a regular basis. Remember you need at least one a week. Also remember that your personal narratives are due before the end of this grading period (first term). Thanks! Keep up the good work. I am really enjoying what you have to say in your blogs!!

Congratulations to all of you who have succeeded in establishing your blog and have already begun posting. I have even had some students who have completed their personal narratives! They are due before the end of the first term. Hope everything is going well. I am enjoying reading about what is happening in your classrooms!

The fifth grading period for the year is over! Congratulations, you made it this far!! Book chapter summaries are due - just 2 or 3 sentences and a relection sentence on how it will benefit you in your experience as a cadet teacher or in the future. It sounds like everyone has been very busy in their classrooms and that you a making a difference in the daily lives of the students in your rooms. Great job! Your classroom teachers are pleased with your progress as well. Congrats!

Cadet Teachers you are doing a great job in the classroom! Some of you, however, are forgetting to do your weekly posts and, so far, I have not seen any book chapter summaries!!

Just a reminder that you need to choose a book for your summaries. When posting your summaries: the chapter summaries should be short and include a reflection on how the information is or could be useful to you. Make sure you Title it by chapter (Chapter 1, Capter 2, etc.). Put the Book Title and the author in parentheses at the end of each summary. If you have questions let me know. Have a great semester!!!
